My name is Zhao Jun Yang. I am from Fujian, China. Life in China is very different from being in America. That is because in China, I spent most of my time with my friends. We went shopping together and hang out until it was time to go back home. Buther in America, most of my friends are working long shifts.

I am married. My husband works in a hotel. We have two children, a boy and a girl. My daughter is 16 years old and my son is 16 years old. The are currently both attending high school. We live in a house near a pier. We live on the first floor. Most of my neighbors are Filipinos while others are African Americans and white people.

There are quite a few supermarkets located around my neighborhood. So shopping is very convenient. I don’t have a job, and I am looking forward to having one. But for now, I am a housewife so I stay home and take care of my children.

I am also attending a BMCC ESL class hoping to improve my English language skills. I like going to the class because not only am I learning English there, I am also making new friends. This has been a great experience to me.
